Orphan Black Renewed For Season 4
BBC America has officially renewed Orphan Black for a fourth season, even though it is currently only three weeks into it’s third one. Orphan Black is a sci-fi thriller that follows the story of a streetwise girl who is pulled into a thrilling conspiracy after witnessing the suicide of a girl who looks identical to her. Tatiana Maslany stars, and plays many different characters. She plays an entire series of clones that are physically identical, but all have different personalities.
The show started as a cult hit, and was not expected to become as popular as it has become. It only continues to grow in popularity, as more young fans learn about “Clone Club.” Clone club is a term used in the show and has been continued to be used in the real world to refer to the group of clones. The supposed “first rule” of the club is that outsiders, particularly non-clones, cannot know about the clones’ existence.
Orphan Black airs on Saturdays at 9pm ET on BBC America.
